(TSX:TZT), announced today that China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation ("Sinopec Corp.") the largest integrated energy and chemical company in China has successfully deployed Aperto's PacketMAX WiMAX products to build a region-wide wireless broadband network in the Sichuan province of China. SINOPEC develops and manages gasfields in the mountain area of Sichuan where safety is one of the most important considerations to the success of the operation. Aperto's PacketMAX WiMAX solution was selected to provide the mission critical communication infrastructure. SINOPEC is leveraging Aperto's carrier-class QoS and comprehensive network management system to support multiple services including integrated voice, data, and video applications. The rugged mountain areas of the Sichuan province are extremely challenging for any communications technology.
