Overview:

Tranzeo's NEW EL-500 operates either in 2.4GHz & 5.8 GHz. Based on a new platform, the EL-500 incorporates all of the software features of its predecessor, the EN-500, plus many new features and the popular hardware features of our SL series.

The EL-500 can be set up in the following modes: Router Mode; Router Mode with NAT; Bridge Mode.

Important note: The distance ranges referenced below for the various radios/ &radio/antenna systems, are conservatively stated. Actual performance results may exceed (or occasionally be less) depending on a variety of factors including but not restricted to: (a) line of sight issues; (b) Fresnel zone issues; (c) towers heights (d) noise floors; and: (e) spectrum issues such as interference.

Description: Frequency Bands: 2.4 / 5.8 GHz. This is the newest member of Tranzeo's family of low cost wireless devices. Based on the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g standard and complete with FCC Certification, this radio is standards compliant. This platform was redesigned from the ground up around a powerful AMCC PowerPC® 405EP processor with 64 MB of RAM and FLASH to achieve the best performance possible while ensuring backward compatibility with previous generations of product. Suitable for medium to long range applications for "lighting up" clients up to 15+ miles with upwards of 20 Mbps actual throughput. With software features such as Splash Pages, Radius support and Multiple ESSIDs, the EL-500 is also excellent for HotSpots or Enterprise coverage. Fully interoperable with Tranzeo's wide choice of 2.4 and 5. 8 GHz Antennas, mix and match to suit your application. Fully tested with all of Tranzeo's WiFi units such as the highly popular TR-CPQ-19, TR-SL5-16 & TR-SL2-15 units. The radios are housed in a standard tried and proven Slim Line case. This case allows for easier mounting of external antennas, discreet mounting options and comes with Status LED’s which makes installation much easier. This N-Connnector unit does not come supplied with a connecting cable. Tranzeo recommends ordering seperately our 3 foot LMR-400 N-Male to N-Male cable.
