Overview:

The EnRoute505/404/509 series are  wireless mesh routers specifically designed for outdoor applications. The dual radio EnRoute505/404/509 series serve as a Wi-Fi access point with  dedicated 802.11b/g/a radios, an intra-network repeater and router with  dedicated 802.11b/g/a mesh enabled radios, and as  gateways via Ethernet to an Internet point of presence (POP).

Tranzeo's patented technology separating the client access  from the mesh backhaul channel allows explicit control of the backhaul and enables an extremely reliable high throughput solution.

The EnRoute505/404/509 series solutions provide amazingly low total cost of ownership by leveraging:

- Omni-directional radio links providing a highly scalable network deployment

- Self-forming network topology that reduces installation costs by simplifying the installation procedures

- Self-healing network ensuring the best possible and most reliable connectivity

- Flexibility to choose which radio and frequency band to assign for your mesh interface and access point. "Any radio, any role". i.e. You can configure the unit with 2 x 2.4GHz or 2 x 5.8GHz radios. Appropriate antennas must be attachedup at the N-Connectors.

NEW!!! The EN524-15 and EN558-16 with integrated access point antennas are now available.  The EN524-15 features an integrated 2.4GHz 15dBi panel antenna, and the EN558-16 features an integrated 5.8GHz 16dBi panel antenna for more directional coverage, where enhanced range and NLOS operation might be required.

Model Specifics:

EN404

RF Output Antenna Type Data Sheet Warranty*
2 x 13 dBm 2x Omni 5 Year Limited Warranty **

Description:

The EnRoute404 is a wireless mesh router specifically designed for Public Safety Band applications - 4.9GHZ. The dual radio EnRoute500 serves as a Wi-Fi access point with a dedicated 802.11b/g radio and more.

EN509

RF Output Antenna Type Data Sheet Warranty*
23 @900 / 23 at 2.4/5.8 2x Omni 5 Year Limited Warranty **

Description:

The EN509 is a wireless mesh router specifically designed for outdoor applications. The EN509 is an excellent product for extending a mesh network into a wooded or other NLOS areas, with the backhaul operating on your choice of 900Mhz or 2.4 / 5.8 GHz, and offering client access via your choice of 900Mhz or 2.4 / 5.8 GHz.
Suitable for use with our TR-902 or SL9 series of CPE radios.
You can add your choice of 900 MHz Antennas, which are not included.

EN505

RF Output Antenna Type Data Sheet Warranty*
2x 23 dBm 2x Omni 5 Year Limited Warranty **

Description:

Dual radio unit with 23 dBm 802.11 mesh enabled radio for 2.4GHz/5.8GHz which functions as an intra-network repeater, router and as a gateway via Ethernet to an Internet point of presence; a dedicated 23 dBm 802.11b/g/a radio for 2.4GHz/5.8 GHz Access Point portion.
Intra-network repeater section uses 8.5 dBi Omni (upgradable for an extra charge to a 10.5dBi Omni)while access point transmits through 7.25 dBi Omni.
Depending on type and quality of client side radio, general guideline for connectivity is approximately 1,000 feet diameter per "node". Maximum number of nodes per "cluster" should be limited to 5 or 6.
See adjacent data sheet for more detailed information about WirelessFabric (tm) network software.

EN524-15 (NEW)

RF Output Antenna Type Data Sheet Warranty*
2 x 23dBm Mesh: Omni
AP: Integrated 2.4GHz Panel
5 Year Limited Warranty **

Description:

The EN524-15 is Tranzeo’s latest 2.4GHz/5.8GHz dual-band outdoor mesh router and access point featuring two high performance radios and employing Tranzeo’s patented WirelessFabricTM mesh protocol technology.

The dual-radio system serves as a WiFi access point with a dedicated 802.11b/g radio and as a mesh backhaul router/repeater with a dedicated 802.11a/b/g mesh-enabled radio. The EN524 also serves as a Gateway via Ethernet to an Internet point of presence (POP). It intelligently repeats and routes data to extend network range and provide redundant routing in intermittent environments.

The EN524 provides the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) by leveraging omni- directional antenna for mesh backhaul, and an integrated directional panel antenna for access point. This topology provides highly scalable network deployment that is self-forming for simplified installation and self-healing for reliable connectivity.

Ideal for hotspot applications with coverage from the cell-edge.
