Overview:
The TR-SL9 Series is our second generation of product that operates in the 900 MHz ISM band. 900 MHz radio transmissions can have better non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation properties in comparison to higher frequencies. The nature of the line-of-sight issues will vary for every application and Tranzeo strongly recommends testing each application. Consequently, throughput and distance performances can vary greatly.
The 900 MHz band, especially in urban areas, is subject to interference from a number of other electronic devices and therefore a pre-install Spectrum Analysis is also recommended. A 20 dB fade margin should be included in performance calculations.
The SL9 Series of 900MHz radios is a "Slim Line" version of our popular TR-902 Series.
